"My wish was that I could take my husband to a LA galaxy game before he was medically retired. Instead of being treated to 2 tickets we were treated to 2 VIP tickets, a lunch for 2 fully comp'd, free parking, and a meet and greet with 2 LA galaxy players. There are multiple times you feel alone as a spouse to a military member but I've experienced the most lonely time to be during a medical board, it's scary, seldom talked about and you begin to feel pushed under the rug by the Marine Corps so having a foundation take care of us like this was the biggest blessing.
